The production plant in Legnica has been operating for over 20 years. At the moment, we employ over 1700 employees. However, this is not the end, because we are facing another challenge – in the coming years we plan to launch a modern plant that will increase our production capacity 6 times. In Legnica, we manufacture heat pumps, copper pipes, cables, cable harnesses and control cabinets. Heat pumps are the latest project in the spirit of green energy.

Your impact:

leading the purchasing process for serial production for assigned categories
implementation of purchasing strategies in alignment with Lead Buyers
supporting supplier management e.g. cost optimizing, sourcing, selection & qualification, consolidation & phase-out
ensuring supplier’s production capacity fully cover required demand e.g. LTA, delivery schedules
processing & negotiating agreements
leading sourcing projects
negotiations of commercial terms
assuring the fulfillment of global purchasing procedures & compliance
market research & analysis within assigned categories
administration of purchasing & suppliers’ data
supporting logistics in escalation cases

Wymagania:

Candidate profile:

higher education (business administration / logistics / technical)
minimum 3 years experience as Serial Buyer of direct categories in a manufacturing company
knowledge of at least 1 foreign language (English and / or German) at a minimum B2 level allowing fluent spoken & written communication
very good knowledge of SAP (purchasing / logistics area)
very good knowledge of excel and /or google Spreadsheets at a level that allows efficient analysis and data presentation
strong negotiations skills
strong problem-solving and escalation skills
practical experience / knowledge of project management
knowledge of electronic and / or cabling category will be an asset
technical knowledge will be an asset
communication skills, self-organization and time management, conflict management, and analytical thinking
