The production plant in Legnica has been operating for over 20 years. At the moment, we employ over 1,200 employees. However, this is not the end, because we have another challenge ahead of us – in the coming years we plan to launch a modern plant that will increase our production capacity 6 times. In Legnica, we manufacture heat pumps, copper pipes, cables, cable harnesses and control cabinets. Heat pumps are the newest project in the spirit of green energy.

Opis stanowiska:

In line with our purpose – to create living spaces for generations to come – the significance of heat pumps is growing really fast and you can have a direct influence on this! As Lead Buyer, you have global responsibility for the heat pumps product group. You develop and implement various measures so that the product group can be optimized and further developed. 

This position can be fulfilled 50-60% remotely.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • planning, development and implementation of strategic measures to optimise the commodity, including supplier classification (supplier pyramid)
  • development, coordination, presentation and representation of the procurement strategy to the management (EC incl. cross-functional areas)
  • conducting negotiations (contract & prices) and setting global conditions in coordination with the VF 
  • observation and analysis (benchmark) of the global procurement market as well as commodity markets, market competitors and indices
  • cross-functional exchange of commodity group specific information (e.g. CS JourFix)
  • provision of the longlist within the framework of the S2C
  • RFI & RFQ in coordination with VF (e.g. PKO & dual source)
  • close cooperation with project purchasing for new developments (selection of development partners)
  • cost analyses for cost optimisation of existing suppliers in coordination with SB or VF (e.g. PKO) 
  • support SQ&D in coordination with VF
  • participation in supplier audits
  • risk management (e.g. supply chain screening)

Wymagania:

Your profile:

  • technical university degree, industrial engineer or business economist diploma/master’s degree with good technical understanding
  • several years of experience in the strategic purchasing of an industrial company, ideally in the procurement of merchandise or OEM partners
  • experience in leading interdisciplinary teams
  • business skills and solid knowledge of procurement strategies and methods
  • ideally, you are experienced in conducting global framework agreement negotiations, global benchmarking processes, successful interface management and confident in solving international challenges
  • SAP knowledge
  • fluency in spoken and written English
  • willingness to travel (40%) and intercultural competences 
  • ability to communicate in German will be an asset
