• Bachelor's or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the area of software development for embedded systems with real-time and safety requirements.
• Very good programming knowledge in C.
• Experience documenting software requirements, architecture and testing.
• Experience in working with Git and Jira.
• Knowledge of Python (is a plus).
• Experience in using electronic measurement instruments.
• Very good English skills (German is a plus).
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink will be a plus.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and power electronics systems for inverters, frequency converters, drive technology and PV-Storage systems. Your responsibilities:

• Creation of requirements and concepts for the embedded software development of real-time capable, safety-related systems.
• Implementation of software components and module tests in C/C++.
• Optimization and integration of external and internal software components.
• Development of automated integration tests and tools for continuous integration and quality assurance.
• Development of debug and analysis tools.
• Overseeing the quality, documentation and release of software components.
